Thanks heaps for all the kind words regarding EP and these, our first full length book releases. The covers that you both spoke so highly of come from the talented artistry of Brian Jordan, known from previous EP releases as the artist behind works like Tales of Stranggore and Dogs. And I couldn't agree more strongly at your high praise of them, personally I think they are superb. An added bonus lies within the Thorny Whisper, Liquid Kiss book for those who are fans of Brian's work, as two of the short pieces therein have been fully illustrated by him. In answer to your question Matt about how we're finding the Cafe Press services, I must say that so far no one here has anything but the highest praise for them. We've been wanting to release these books for a while but were trying to find the best way to do it. Previous releases were always printed and distributed by us, but our usual outlets are comic-book shops and record shops, so novels were a new market for us. The fact that Cafe Press handle both printing and distribution allows us to test the waters with these releases, getting them out worldwide through the internet to all our regular readers. We're still looking at doing a local print run on them at some stage, but for now we're just very excited about the Cafe Press releases. And thanks Matt for your recommendation on them - it certainly has paid off for us.

Witold, I fear you will still have to be tempted to read your data only copy of The Time of Hope, since that is indeed Last Knight but under a different name. Last Knight was the working title that Rocco and I used while we tried to think up another one for the book. The Time of Hope, although fitting the story well, never sat totally right with us, and even after we started using that title officially we still referred to the book as Last Knight whenever we spoke about it to each other. When we came to finally see it through to publication we talked about the title again and decided that the old working title was the right one to go with after all, so Last Knight it is and forever will be. While you do have a copy on your computer I would hasten to add that it is an earlier draft and that the book has been reedited a few times since then in preparation for publication, so perhaps we'll get a sale out of you after all. We do plan to publish Never in the future, but the manuscript still
needs editing on that one so the release will be some time off.

For those who wonder why, the drafts of the aforementioned books were sent to BTR Productions as possibilities for their books on tape series, a series which has not as yet seen production (and not suprising considering all the other superb audio productions currently coming out from BTR). That is why Witold (series editor) has copies of them on his computer. If either Matt or Witold has any news, by the by, on the proposed Eschaton spoken word cd, then news here might be well recieved by regular EP readers. Reshma and myself edited a manuscript together for it some time ago, but how far it is down the track on the BTR release schedule I am not sure.

Talking of all things Eschaton, I think you were somewhat disparaging of your own work Matt. The Curse of the Vampire, like the short film it is based upon, is an enthrallingly moody adventure piece and well deserving of publication. Certainly Reshma and I would not have included it in the collection if we did not think highly of it. And the collection really is superb, it showcases a wonderful cross-section of the talented writers who contributed to the zine over the last few years and it really has come together into quite a staggering work. Perhaps as co-editor I'm biased but I'd highly recommend anyone to pick up a copy today.

By the by, thanks to both Matt and Witold for their ongoing support, both as writing contributors to EP and as readers of EP titles. It really is greatly appreciated, as is the relationship EP has built up with kindred spirit BTR Productions, a group for which I have nothing but the highest respect and admiration.

I hope you both (and anyone else who buys the latest releases) will be able to share your thoughts on the books on this forum once you have time to read them.
