Should Cassandra & Trell Have Their Own Adventures |
Lead | |
|
It's been mooted in the discussion threads for Present, Past & Future Danger that Cassandra and Trell, the QRP time team who guest starred in that story, might be deserving of their own series. As much as the final decision will surely be down to Cass/Trell creator Aurora MacPherson either way, it's kind of academic, but I'm sure she -- and BTR -- would be anxious to know what kind of audience to expect if they spun off.
So, without further ado, here's the obligatory poll... nothing is certain. maybe.

Although I voted "Yes", I'd rather have voted for Option #5, simply because it makes me laugh.
Oh, and did you have to make the poll responses so big Witold? They fuck up the formatting on the forum something rotten for people using less than 1024 x 768 resolution... |

they're actually not that big: for some reason, the board decided to make the result bars really huge. i'm still puzzling over this myself...

Well first up YES by all means. DoT must live.
But I had to vote for five. I mean come on its Lord of the Rings. Eric L. Busby

Oh boy.. *chuckle* This is the last thing I expected. Well, I'm really interested if there is an audience for a spin off series with Cassandra and Trell.
If the audience is there, we will make them! |

I voted for 'Nah -- once is enough. Let them go out on a high.'. Although I did find the characters interesting and entertaining in PP&FD, I think a spin-off series would run the risk of being a Doctor Who imitator, but with Cassandra instead of the Doctor.

that's a good point you raise, morgan, and that's one reason i'm glad i started this poll: we can see what listeners think might be the potential pitfalls of such a series, which its writers and producers could then strive to avoid.
this is wonderful: we're getting constructive and useful feedback on a series that hasn't even been produced yet! i only wish the feedback was this good on some of the ones we do produce... nothing is certain. maybe.
