it's now been a day shy of two months since matt's last post, and still no sign of part 3. (in fact, the entire dam site hasn't been "recently updated" since around two months ago! though why you'd call your last update "recently updated" when that claim becomes less and less true with each passing day is beyond me.)

so, how about it, guys? 18 minutes is hardly "feature length", and if this play is finished, then you're leaving the narrative very open-ended!

if nothing else, could a representative of dam productions at least give everyone a rough estimate on when the next instalment is likely to be released? or provide some sort of progress/production report? i think it's safe to say we're all dying to hear the next bit, but it's equally safe to say that we're all beginning to forget what happened in the last one!

it's starting to remind me of the early days of online fan productions all over again. remember the likes of the krios factor and so on? a couple of episodes would get released, then a group would start on a different story while promising to work on both, then it'd just fall apart altogether.

the funny thing about my example is, zindignite's daniel burnett is still "producing" (i use the quote marks because it's arguable at the present time), so i wonder if he has any ambitions, once he's spent the next 38 years or whatever it'll take making his planned two seasons of ultimate reality audios, to go back and finish his meagre zindignite output (istr they had at least a full season planned), or is that a truly abandoned project?

you know, if it wasn't for the extremely variable quality of fan audios, i'd almost suggest some prolific group or other should take a couple of years out and produce all the unfinished or abandoned fan audios -- except they'd probably need a couple of decades!
