ok....have a staggering stories update notice... we have..
a new musing on the return of Who
a new dr who story from Ashley Myles (who we thank very much)
a new set of cards for the staggering stories not very collectible card game - and I firmly dissasociate myself from at least one of them! lol
and a brand spanking new, Ive finaly got my funky groove thang back, mp3 - the music for the forthcoming trailer for the Buccaneer Chronicles' story, Keeping The Peace - and its a belter! more a musical trailer, really...if you know your Dr Who incidentals (like Peter Howell's sontaran theme) and some of the music already on the site then you might just be able to start putting two and two together - good luck!

thanks mate. Much appreciated. The connections, I'm afraid, ,well, you have to listen to other music and trailers on the site for the heavy stuff - the dr who incidentals are just for "viewer recognition", LOL. The idea is the music to the trailers will help to tell the story - a sort of peter and the wolf thingy. However, its still early days......it should make sense already, but it should become clearer as time goes on. Oh, and you'll know exactly what happens in the final story of the season - "Solve My Problems" - Ill be using a very particular dr who incidental - with adjustements, and they'll be no mistaking......
Yeah, I wish we could do a full blown thingy.....however,I;'m a bit of a control freak - I don't want to do it unless all the actors are with me when they perform so I can direct. Also, it means the sound can be constant - one thing that gets me about some internet dramas, and its unavoidable considering how they are done, is the differing sound qualities between each performer.
Maybe we'll do the Musical Interlude - a cast of two and a narrator....oh, and lots of music from popular beat combos. not sure what the copyright angel would be with us using a load of music from other people.
Last year we had an offer from a cgi house to turn The Buccaneer Chronicles into a full blown cgi tv series - it would have meant cutting and changing all the Who stuff. However, I didn't trust the guy behind it so it fell through. Shame, but at least I've ben spared the ulcers - Id have been directing, doing the recording, music and audio editing.....far toooo much, lol.

we've been very lucky this year and been graced with a story from Xippy award winner, Karen Dunn
As is fast becoming our tradition, we like to give you a special treat at this time of year. So, for those of you who have been checking his webcam and eagerly awaiting the fate of poor old Mr.Dalek, wait no longer.
He;s back - and its about projected energy weapons..
Yes, Mr.Dalek discovers the true meaning of Christmas!!!!
this is a special photo story and also a special audio (our traditional Christmas Staff Party)

not sure whats next...its our second birthday around the 12th, so as the buccaneer chronicles is taking an age to tell, Im considering doing a version of the faithless track, drifting away with a load of lines etc from the season as a whole...give you lot a glimpse into the future....

well, you may have to wait a fair while till we hear more from Mr Dalek.......we don't want to over do it, yeah? maybe one or two a year...plus we need to come up with stuff for him to do. There are rough plans for his next outing though...I mean, he can't go around exterminating all those toys without somebody, somewhere passing comment, now can he....?
