Yes, yes, yes, YES. Thank you Mark, you've made my day... my week... hell, my YEAR!!! Thank you for getting the wonderful Paul Darrow (my hero/heart-throb, whatever) to be the subject of the fourth Actor Speaks series. When you asked for ideas I didn't dare suggest him, thinking there would be no way...

It'll be great to hear him in a role other than Avon. And I'm sure B7 fans will be eager to participate in the Q&A, now that he's departed from the revival project.

Not only is there a fascinating duologue from 'Kaldor City' but time permitting, there may also be a brand new Soldiers of Love' spin off segment set on Voltarabia................... |

I've been looking forward to hearing the new 'Kaldor City' item, but now you've whetted my appetite further saying there may be a 'Soldiers of Love' spin off. And on Voltarabia which as a planet fascinated me in the early SoL CDs.

Recording went splendidly today! It looks like this may be a DOUBLE CD release! Here is the final track listing and details:
(1) Interview - Paul, Avon & Blake's Seven: Producer Mark asks Paul all about Avon, his origins and development and playing the character plus more, this is followed by Paul answering questions sent in by listeners. (2) 'The Woman In My Dreams' - a short monologue by Mark J Thompson: A lead in to MJTV's proposed new audio series 'The Binding Force'. Paul plays a fugitive in the future who has been hiding away for 30 years, when his lover and enemy suddenly makes contact again... (3) Interview - Doctor Who And The Silurians: Paul and special guest Peter Miles reminisce about their time together on the Dr Who story 'The Silurians' broadcast in 1970 plus talk about their other times in Dr Who (4) 'Soldiers of Love - 'Mythmakers' by Mark J Thompson. A completely new 'Soldiers of Love' play starring Paul as interfering scouse journalist Croo Nybin who reports on the dramatic events on Voltarabia after King Turnidus vanishes, but his meddling has dramatic consequences for the Voltarabian race and himself. Also stars Peter Miles. (5) 'The Unwelcome Visitor' a monologue written by Mark J Thompson. The reflections, fears and thoughts of a man plagued by an unwanted squatter...... (6) Interview - Paul, His Life and Other Work - Paul answers more questions sent in by listeners (7) 'Kaldor City' - 'The Prisoner' A new short story from Magic Bullet's 'Kaldor City' Universe by Alan Stevens and Fiona Moore - Guest star Peter Miles as 'Landerchild' in a battle of words between him and Iago - Why is Iago found wandering around Landerchild's compound.....? (  The King & I - Paul talks all about Elvis Presley(9) 'Sunset In The City' A monologue by Tanith Lee. (10) Interview - Being 60: Paul gives his thoughts on life now he's in his 60's! |

Well there is going to be an Actor Speaks panlel on the Saturday 24th @ Star One and Alan Stevens (who produces Kaldor) will be interviewing Paul Darrow, Jacqueline Pearce and myself! So see u there!

As Actor Speaks 4 vastly overran I've decided NOT to go for a double, so that the series is a collection of single CDs and stays affordable at £9.99.
