I just thought I would let you have my thoughts on the 12th CD.
I very much enjoyed this. It really pushed all the storylines along well, and answered some of the questions nagging for some time, and also posed new ones.
When I read the outside of the booklet that the cast list contained spoilers I specifically didn't read it until after I had listened to the CD. Once I had listened to it I looked at the cast list and was very surprised not to see Jake listed. Was this an oversight or deliberate (bearing in mind the warning)?
On that subject, I almost cheered when Jake turned up alive and well, and it was a good explanation as to how he got out of his predicament!
Another query I have is what sex is Sharlikan supposed to be? I seem to remember way back that Teddy said 'he' when referring to it, but in this CD Frag said 'she'.
Can't wait for the next instalment - who is the mysterious blonde in Aaron's chamber? What is Aaron up to now? Will the Retsarb get his/her way? Will Ystabub find out who he is and will he like it (not according to your teaser on the CD booklet!). Will Mme Deephole find her son? etc, etc...
