There is a new TV sci-fi group about to start meeting on the last Saturday of every month. This will be at the Market pub in Elsecar (aka Paul's local!) from 8pm until chucking out. Hopefully anyone in the Sheffield/Rotherham/Barnsley area will feel free to drop in and it will become a 'regular' meeting place. Any more details required, please post here.

Best of luck and I'll certainly turn up for a few of these get togethers. I thought I'd pin this thread to the top of the board for the time being, so that the more infrequent visitors will see it. Gaz PS. The new look to the forum is due to our hosts BTR having a relaunch. I think the new colours are easier to read anyhow.

I don't have any problems with blue, I just keep expecting it to be black. I guess I'm easily scared. Yes. We've been talking about getting something a bit regular for ages. As Paul is always in there anyway, it seemed like a good place to start. It won't matter if there are only a couple of us and it gives you a nice, cosy feeling to know you've got somewhere to go. ('where everybody knows your name, and there always glad you came...) It's your round, by the way...

Hope you'll all make the effort to struggle along. Especially you people in Australia. Gareth is hoping to get along... but don't let that put you off (guffaw... ) Six of us got together at the end of January and had a good laugh. Well... I did! I assume everyone else did (too silly to notice, really).

Glad to see eight people getting along to the February gathering. Always nice when numbers go up rather than down. Next one will be on Saturday, March 27th (you can actually work them out yourselves!) which is Paul's birthday. Everyone is welcome (as always!). Any suggestions for a prezzy? About 15 people (I lost count/fell down). Paul claiming it was his birthday worked very well and even got a few cards. Great to see you all there. And anybody with a note from mummy must do better next time. Next time being April 24th. Which is my birthday!! (not)

Will have to see where rehearsals leave me this month. Pirates of Penzance is the first week in May at the Rotherham Civic for those of you not on Gareth's regular bullying list.
