Of course you mean a good one without scary monsters and not just one without monsters so all the rubbish Williams one's with the very unscary monsters are no good. And despite the fact that he seems ok with scary Robots I don't think Robots of Death should be approached for a year or two.

My own spawn was and is a great fan of all the bangs and flashes of Remembrance, and was just as excited about the Dalek that's just a big gun as a certain moderator is (well nearly as excited).

Meglos only has a spiky Doctor and a plant (and also has short episodes so as not to stretch the attention span). And Planet of Evil has the red liney invisible monster and the growly man in part four - but Prentis Hancocks performance may induce meal time tantrums

I'm subjecting my eight year old to the first season of Blakes 7 at the moment. All has been going well, the Liberator is a 'cool ship' but he's very concerned that they are getting rid of all the teleport bracelets (putting them down and then not getting them back) but unfortunately we are near the end now and are running into Breakdown. He fidgeted all the way through and couldn't understand how steering through the middle of a black hole could allow them to survive it's gravity influence (good grief if eight year old can see the plot holes in this Nation tat what chance the adults). We've got Bounty next so I can only imagine the fidgeting to come there.

Tahlia won't entertain Dr Who yet because 'it's scary', which is strange since she hasn't seen it and Josiah has never found it scary in the least. What's the most Girly Dr Who then - I mean pink princesses and stuff?

Yes I suppose Androids of Tara is the most Girly with Princesses and castles (we're talking a four year old here Randomgirl1, who has more Barbies than you can shake a Ken at and all her favourite foods are pink, as are her clothes, bedroom and parents).

But yes I do remember that it is a weeny bit boring - but is that only because I'm a boy! (No I don't think so either).

Yep, the number of crap stories that have kept the attention by stringing together decent cliffhangers is countless. Jos thinks that Armageddon Factor is the best Key to Time story and I'm sure it's on the strength of the edisode endings alone.

And would anyone remember Invasion of Time if it wasn't for the 1 and 4 cliffhangers?
