Well, not just the BBC's, but also the Estate of Ron Grainer, and Warner Chappel music, who are the current copyright holders of the music. But to be honest, I don't think it really matters, because everyone uses it on their fan audios and videos, and none of us have gotten into trouble as yet.

My thoughts are to use one of the original TV series themes to start with, and then perhaps later on get an original one.

Have a look at the various guides on offer there, as I am sure you'll find quite a lot of good information there that will assist you in becoming a very solid group with a wealth of technical and practical knowledge behind you, and that will only assist in making the final product sound even better!

Hey, if someone in your group wants to design a graphical banner to sit at the top of your forum, just create one and send it my way. Use whatever graphics format you want, as I can convert between almost any. Just make sure the dimensions are 300 pixels x 60 pixels, otherwise it won't be the right size.
