It looks like my thread went off topic for a bit there so I thought that I should put it back on track.
The Transformation of Lady Grey is nearly finished (woohoo! etc) With only one more episode to write, that should be done for next week.
I'll be starting on the next story then. I'll give you a taster.

The Doctor and Adam lands in Basingstoke (Earth) in the year 1997, the Doctor has just popped to the shop to buy some sweets(?)
Adam looks up and sees a vast multi coloured cloud, stretching from horizon to horizon rushing towards him at an impossible speed, he does the only thing he can and runs back to the TARDIS
When he looks out, the landscape has changed beyond all recognition. Basingstoke had gone and has been replaced by a wartorn, cratered landscape...and there is no sign of the Doctor...
