 Given that he's currently completing a PhD in Computer Science over there at Cambridge, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it is him... |

i hope someone's taping it -- we can use it as the basis for a "btr, where are they now?" doco released exclusively to dvd!
 oh yeah, and the obligatory "it's only university challenge, rick, it's only university challenge!" had to be said. nothing is certain. maybe.

Bleedin- eck, I think it *was* him you know.. the voice matched, the face matched, he said "Hello, I'm William Billingsley and I'm studying Computer Science" (I'm pretty sure!) and indeed.. he was with a Cambridge college.
I'm still terrified. |

I'm pretty sure it is him to be honest. I seem to remember him sending a email out about it a while ago...
I'm sure he would have taped it. Although he may have wiped the tape if he didn't win... :P Cheers Scott. |
